How We Got Here
Welcome to our site,
I retired from a large corporation as the Area Manager of Human Resources and frequently had to arrange for meeting rooms in different cities. I currently teach a management class (www.alarmt.com) and it has always been very time consuming to go through directory assistance and internet yellow pages to find meeting facilities. I would love to have a site such as PlaceBooked.com™ to search for meeting rooms. I have recently tried to book meeting rooms and after much searching, double-clicking and calling, decided to create PlaceBooked.com™. We are committed to providing a functional, easy to use website for members to advertise their meeting space and an easy way for customers to find the members. There won't be a lot of bells and whistles. We want the person on any type of data connection to be able to find a meeting room without waiting for a large amount of graphics to load. Functionality! That's what we want. Our goal is to utilize the SEO (search engine optimization) and keywords of the internet to make us the web site of choice for meeting planners. That is why it would be very beneficial for you to place a link to OUR site on YOUR site. We recognize that many times a rented meeting space will produce additional revenue from meals, catering and lodging in some cases. Some advertising is a shot in the dark. You have no definite way to track the return on your advertising dollar. Our goal is for our members to have the most visibility possible. We are offering this service for FREE at the present time to build a huge data base for the 400,000 monthly searches for meeting/conference facilities. We will become "THE ONLY" place customers "look to book". Value. We want to provide value to our members and customers.
